The Opportunities

We have opportunities for Anaesthetists, including fixed-term and permanent positions. All roles are 0.75 FTE (60 hours per fortnight), plus on-call allowance. The on-call roster is 1:16 or 1:17 with 4.25–4.5 call-back hours.

About the Roles

• Provide anaesthesia across a wide range of specialties, in both planned and acute care.

• Take part in the anaesthetic roster, after-hours cover, and pre-assessment clinics.

• Work as duty Anaesthetist, ensuring safe and effective perioperative care.

• For ICU-focused roles: contribute senior intensive care expertise and be part of a 1:7 ICU on-call roster.

About You

• Vocationally registered (or eligible) in Anaesthesia with the Medical Council of NZ.

• FANZCA (or equivalent).

• Collaborative, supportive, and committed to high-quality patient care.

• For ICU role: senior experience in critical care.
