About the opportunity

This is a great role for someone who enjoys variety in their work and wants exposure beyond pure compliance.

You’ll work with a diverse client base – from growing businesses and entrepreneurs through to well-established organisations – gaining valuable experience across both BAS and Advisory work.

It’s an environment where you’ll be supported to continue developing your technical skills while building confidence working directly with clients.

The role

Working alongside an experienced leadership team, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing financial statements, tax returns and GST for a range of clients

• Supporting clients with financial insights and practical business advice

• Building strong, trusted relationships with your client portfolio

• Managing workflow to ensure deadlines are met and work is delivered to a high standard

• Supporting and mentoring junior team members as they develop their careers

• Contributing to internal initiatives that improve systems, processes and client experience

As your experience grows, you’ll have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and client exposure.

I'd love to hear from accountants who:

• Have 2–4 years’ experience within a public practice environment

• Are CA or CPA qualified (or working towards completion)

• Enjoy working closely with clients and building strong relationships

• Are organised, proactive and take pride in delivering quality work

• Enjoy contributing to a positive team culture

• Have the ability to work in New Zealand (citizen, resident or valid work visa)
