About the role
We are on the lookout for a candidate who has 5+ years of experience in a BAS Accounting role. You will see yourself working across a diverse range of clients cross-border, servicing their business needs. Your day to day will include: 

  • Reviewing GST and FBT returns, Income Tax Returns, Rental Tax returns and financial statements
  • Overseeing company closures
  • Speaking with your clients regarding their business tax requirements
  • Working closely with the partner and admin team 
  • Liaising with staff on IRD and Tax enquiries and dealing with tax authorities

Ideal skills and experience

We are on the hunt for a candidate that has worked for a medium to large CA firm and is looking for a break out of the corporate world. To be successful in the role, you should have: 

  • 5 years experience in a NZ CA firm
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills and have managed a client portfolio 
  • Experience in using MYOB, CCH working papers 
  • Have taken ownership of reviewing GST, FBT returns, financial statements, income and rental tax returns
  • Experience / Knowledge of App Stack
