About the Role

A leading national provider of integrated health services is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join their multidisciplinary team. This is a flexible, autonomous position focused on delivering high-quality psychological assessment and intervention for clients recovering from injury, illness, or psychological challenges.This opportunity suits someone who enjoys working independently, values collaborative practice, and is passionate about supporting people on their journey to recovery and wellbeing.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and develop client-specific treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based interventions within contract timeframes (e.g. ACC).

• Communicate effectively with clients, families, funders, and healthcare teams.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reports.

• Contribute to case conferences and interdisciplinary treatment planning.

• Manage diary schedules to ensure full workload representation and service delivery accuracy.

• Engage in professional development, supervision, and clinical governance activities.

Skills and Experience Required

• Postgraduate qualification in Psychology (e.g. MA, MSc, PG Dip, or DClinPsych).

• Registration as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist with the NZ Psychologists Board.

• Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).

• Membership with a recognised professional body (NZCCP or NZPsS).

• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with ACC operational requirements and rehabilitation processes.

• Strong time management and digital literacy (including Microsoft Office and diary systems).

• Current NZ driver's licence.

For Senior-level applicants:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience.

• Advanced skills in areas such as trauma, concussion, pain management, or neuropsychology.

• Experience supervising clinical staff and/or contributing to service design and audits.
