About the role
Take responsibility for ensuring timely loan repayments, minimising financial risk, and maintaining strong customer relationships. In this role, you will be handling one portfolio, working closely alongside the Branch Manager, so a proven track record with credit control is highly desired. This role is Monday to Friday 8:30AM - 5PM.

Ideal Skills and Experience

We are ideally seeking a candidate with a background in Collections & Credit Control who has a strong understanding of Lending fundamentals and can quickly contribute value to the business. To be successful in this role, we are looking for: 

• Experience in Collections / Credit control 
• A clear understanding of Lending banks procedures and policies 
• Have a high attention to detail and negotiation skills
• Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills, a knack for customer service

Some duties

• Oversee borrower accounts and ensure timely repayments
• Pursue overdue payments and negotiate repayment terms
• Verify and reconcile loan payments, addressing any discrepancies
• Ensure adherence to lending regulations and company policies
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve payment disputes
• Generate and maintain reports on credit and collection activities
