My client is a major player in their field, with operations across the globe and a strong foot hold in New Zealand. Locally, they’re led by a down to earth, a sleeves rolled up kind of manager who knows the work inside out, and backed by a solid NZ crew that keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes. 

What you will be doing: 

The role will see you out on the road, installing, servicing and maintaining the equipment at various sites across the Auckland region. You will be hands on, troubleshooting faults onsite, dealing directly with high value clients, making sure the machinery is operating like clock work. Occasional travel outside of Auckland may pop up from time to time. 

This is a permanent, full time role where you'll likely work about 50 hours a week, overtime kicks in after 40 hours at time and a half. There is a weekend on-call roster, once every three weeks, which is also paid at overtime if you get called out.

The ideal candidate:

We are looking for a fully qualified, skilled and reliable sparkie with service or industrial experience who is confident working independently out on the road.

The role would suit someone who is practical, proactive and enjoys variety in their day. You'll be the face of the business onsite, so being confident communicating with clients is key. 

• Qualified Electrician
• 2 - 3 years of experience working as an Electrician or as a Service Technician working with electrical or industrial machinery.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written 
• Auckland based with flexibility to travel within the Auckland regions (occasion travel outside of Auckland) 
• Reliable, practical and confident working independently with clients
