You’ll be part of a small not for profit organisation who celebrates our local community and champions the amazing talents we have in our own backyard. The Roles

You’ll be involved in everything from planning and vendor coordination through to being on site making sure events run seamlessly. It’s a true end-to-end role that will suit someone who enjoys variety and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

Your day could include:

  • Planning and coordinating events from concept through to delivery
  • Managing vendor bookings, stall allocations and communications
  • Recruiting and securing vendors to ensure successful event turnout
  • Preparing event documentation, schedules and logistics plans
  • Supporting funding processes and tracking event budgets
  • Leading event set up, pack down and on-site coordination
  • Troubleshooting on the day to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all involved
  • Supporting social media activity and event promotion

Two roles, one mission. The full-time position is an Event Coordinator.  This person will  take the lead on planning, vendor recruitment and event delivery, while the Event Assistant supports across bookings, coordination and on-site operations.  As a team you will bring each event together.

The Ideal Person

You’ll be someone who enjoys the buzz of events and is just as comfortable in admin mode as you are out on site.

You will bring:

  • Strong organisation and coordination skills
  • Confidence communicating with vendors, suppliers and stakeholders
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to get stuck in
  • The ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Confidence using systems, spreadsheets and social media
  • A full driver’s licence and the ability to support physical event setup when needed

You’ll also be someone who enjoys working as part of a tight knit team and contributing to a positive, community driven environment.
