About the role
 
This newly created position seeks a seasoned and professional Executive Business Development Manager to cultivate and solidify relationships with Senior Leaders nationwide. The role focuses on promoting, presenting, and converting prospects into long-term clients. Success in this role hinges on effective networking and the ability to open doors, particularly in showcasing Software Development Applications and IT solutions that deliver business value.

You will be pitching to C-suite executives, Board Members, and Senior Leadership within Government Agencies. Having a technical background and ability to understand the service while able to communicate and present the overall concept and business value is essential. The target market for this position is organisations with 200 - 500 employees. Operating with full autonomy within the Senior Leadership team and reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee client conversion, onboarding, and establishment. As the role evolves, it will include managing a technical specialist.
 
About you
 
This role seeks a confident, polished, and well-rounded professional with experience in networking and presenting at the Senior Leadership level. Having technical experience and foundational understanding of software development and IT solutions is essential. The ideal candidate will be driven, with strong business development skills and a track record with the ability to manage end-to-end proposal development, from presentation through to onboarding and establishing organisations. Exceptional communication skills are crucial, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely, ensuring that the overall concept is effectively understood and delivered to all stakeholders. Being personable, developing a robust pipeline, and fostering long-term relationships are critical to achieving success in this role.
