About the role 

Immediate start available! Join a supportive team in the Exports team and take on a dynamic, busy role. You'll be responsible for facilitating and processing export Air and Ocean Freight while managing key account relationships and ensuring consistent KPI achievement.

Ideal skills and experience

We’re seeking a skilled professional with a combination of technical expertise, industry experience, and strong interpersonal skills. To be successful in this role, you will have:  

• 3+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding
• Background in Exports Air & Ocean
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships
• Highly detail-oriented, organised, and efficient
• Positive, proactive mindset
• Proficiency in CargoWise

Duties include 

• Prepare and process export documentation
• Ensure compliance with customs, export laws, and trade regulations
• Book freight with airlines, shipping lines, and transport providers
• Communicate with clients, overseas agents, and service providers
• Manage shipment files and enter data into CargoWise
• Track shipments and provide status updates
• Resolve delays, documentation issues, or customs holds
