About the role 

Ready to step into a fast paced exports role where your Dangerous Goods expertise will be highly valued? We’re looking for an experienced Export Operator to join a close knit, supportive team. In this role, you’ll take full ownership of export shipments across both Air and Ocean Freight, with a strong focus on DG compliance, documentation accuracy, and smooth coordination. You’ll be trusted to manage key accounts, ensure KPI delivery, and act as a go to for complex shipments.

Ideal skills and experience

We’re seeking a skilled professional with a combination of technical expertise, industry experience, and strong interpersonal skills. To be successful in this role, you will have:  

• 3+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding
• Background in Exports Air & Ocean
• Hands on experience handling Dangerous Goods shipments
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships
• Proficiency in CargoWise

Duties include 

• Prepare and process export documentation, updating them in CargoWise
• Manage end to end export shipments, including Dangerous Goods consignments
• Ensure compliance with customs, export laws, and trade regulations
• Book freight with airlines, shipping lines, and transport providers
• Communicate with clients, overseas agents, and service providers
• Track shipments and provide status updates
• Resolve delays, documentation issues, or customs holds
