Frontline Manager

You will be the senior on site for either afternoon or night shift, managing operations and production and leading a team of 15 to ensure targets and KPI’s are achieved!

• Afternoon or Night Shift Rosters + Weekend work + long standing team and staff

• 80-85K + paid over time, time and half + free parking on site + PPE 

We’re on the hunt for a Front Line Manager to lead a team of 15 on an afternoon or night shift, in a fast-paced FMCG environment. If you're a hands-on leader with a sharp eye for efficiency and a passion for people development, this is your opportunity to join a well-established, proudly NZ-owned company producing products loved nationwide.

Two Rosters Available 

• Afternoon shift - 2 Saturdays on and 1 off - 2:45pm - 11:15pm
• Night shift  - 2 Saturdays on and 1 off - 11:15pm - 7:15am
• Be available for a day shift when required (leave or absences) 7am - 3:15pm

About the Role

Being the Senior on site, you'll oversee and take charge of the day-to-day production operations, ensuring your team delivers quality products safely, efficiently, and on time. You'll be responsible for team leadership, workflow coordination, and driving a culture of continuous improvement on the floor.

• Lead, coach, and support a team of 15 production staff
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are met
• Troubleshoot production issues and escalate as needed
• Drive team performance, engagement, and development
• Coordinate shift handovers and maintain accurate reporting
• Work collaboratively with maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams

About You

You’re a confident, people-focused leader with a background in manufacturing or FMCG. You thrive under pressure, communicate clearly, and lead by example. You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and jump in when needed while being flexible to support the team, and wider business! 

• Previous experience in a team leader, supervisor, or frontline manager role
• FMCG or manufacturing industry experience
• Strong understanding of health & safety and quality standards
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on results
• Flexibility to work across shifts if required
