You will be working on a fleet of civil and earthmoving machinery, mostly Caterpillar (CAT) equipment. The role includes workshop servicing as well as some on-site breakdown support when required.
This is a stable, full-time role with consistent work and a good team environment.

The role:
This position involves maintaining and repairing heavy diesel plant used across civil construction projects. The focus is on keeping machinery reliable and minimising downtime.
- Servicing and maintaining heavy diesel plant and earthmoving equipment
- Fault finding and repairs across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Scheduled maintenance and preventative servicing
- Breakdown response and on-site repairs when needed
- Inspecting plant, attachments, and site equipment
- Supporting parts ordering and workshop stock
- Completing job cards and service records using digital systems
What we are looking for:
- Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Automotive Engineer, or equivalent experience
- Experience working on civil plant or earthmoving machinery
- Full Class 1 driver’s licence
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working on heavy equipment
- Able to work both independently and within a small team
- Motivated and reliable
