The role

Start ASAP! This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team in the Imports Customer Service space. This is a busy, fast paced role that will see you facilitating and processing all inbound Imports orders. You will be responsible for maintaining key account relationships and ensuring that regular KPI’s are being met.

To be successful
For this role, we are looking for an experienced candidate who has a blend of technical skills, industry knowledge, and strong interpersonal abilities. To be successful in this role, you will have:  

  • 3-5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding Customer Service  
  • Immaculate verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to create and maintain customer relationships
  • Detail oriented, organised and efficient 
  • A great, can-do attitude
  • Experienced on CargoWise

Duties 

  • Receive bookings from clients and agents, updating CargoWise with relevant information 
  • Coordinate with overseas offices or agencies to confirm bookings 
  • Track shipment status and update customers on delivery timelines
  • Provide customers with shipping or air freight options and relay to the origin office for shipment arrangements
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure optimal transit, updating CargoWise with any changes to departures, transshipments, or arrivals
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, shipment details, and any issues
  • Work closely with other internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Ensuring that all shipments comply with relevant regulations
