What you will be doing: 

This role will see you out on the road across the Auckland region, installing, servicing and maintaining industrial machinery at client sites. This role involves a mix of electrical and mechanical fault-finding, responding to service callouts and diagnosing problems that aren’t always textbook.

You will be hands on with the equipment, working through breakdowns, identifying root causes and getting machinery back up and running efficiently. You’ll also deal directly with clients on site, so confidence and professionalism is key.

Occasional travel outside of Auckland may pop up from time to time. 

This is a permanent, full time role where you'll likely work about 50 hours a week, with over time kicking in after 40 hours at time and a half, with a weekend on-call roster, once every three weeks.

• Servicing, installing and maintaining equipment across Auckland on site with clients

• Troubleshooting electro-mechanical faults on-site

• Responding to service callouts and breakdowns

• Working closely with a local leader and national support team

The ideal candidate:

We are looking for a skilled, reliable sparkie who is a fully registered electrician, with an industrial or service background who genuinely enjoys being hands on and fault-finding.

You might come from an industrial maintenance environment, machinery service role, or you may be a sparky who’s always gravitated toward the mechanical side of the job. 

This role will suit someone who is practical, proactive and enjoys variety in their day. You'll be the face of the business onsite, so being confident communicating with clients is key. 

• A fully licensed electrician with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in electrical or machinery roles.

• Mechanically minded and able to troubleshoot faults to get the job done right.

• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of every site visit.

• Confident communicator who can work directly with clients and provide a professional, practical service.

• Flexible, reliable and willing to take on-call duties with occasional travel outside of Auckland when needed
