Machine Operator

Working as a machine operator for an FMCG production line, supporting the process and production of food products to be dispatched nationwide! 

• 3 permanent positions available! Growing, stable, NZ owned operated business

• Afternoon or Night Shift Rosters + Weekend work + long standing team and staff

• $26.50 an hour + $1 an hour night shift allowance (after 6pm) + free parking on site

Two Rosters Available 

• Afternoon shift - 2 Saturdays on and 1 off - 2:45pm - 11:15pm
• Night shift  - 2 Saturdays on and 1 off - 11:15pm - 7:15am

About the Role

We’re looking for proactive and reliable individuals to join the production team in a fast-paced FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment. You’ll be involved in operating machinery and overseeing the production process from start to finish, helping to create a product enjoyed by all across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
• Assist with troubleshooting and support the maintenance team with mechanical issues
• Perform quality checks on finished goods, including weight, volume, and product imperfections

About You

We're looking for the right attitude above all! If you're hands-on, take initiative, and work well in a team, you'll thrive here. You will have experience operating machinery, ideally in an FMCG environment, although not essential. 

• Experience operating machinery (FMCG background preferred)
• A positive, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
