This rapid growth leader within the logistics sector is seeking a hands-on Operations Leader to drive excellence across the New Zealand operations, focusing on commercial efficiency, growth, sustainability, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Site Management: oversee the site’s operations, managing a team of 4 direct reports
• Operational Excellence: Implement process improvements, warehouse technology solutions, and customer value delivery program
• Business Growth: Support sales teams, develop operational strategies for new business and proactively identify operational needs to cater to growth plans
• Customer Focus: Ensure superior customer experience, meet SLAs, and build strong relationships
• Team Leadership: Oversee, upskill and develop a high-performing operations team
• Inventory & Logistics: Optimise inventory control and streamline supply chain operations
• Health & Safety: Drive safety performance, ensure compliance, and foster a safety culture

Requirements:

• Proven experience in leading operations within a large scape 3PL and Distribution environment
• Strong understanding of technology integration and process optimisation
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills
• Customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering value
