The Opportunity

As their Operations & Procurement Coordinator, you'll play a key role in making sure products are purchased, stocked and delivered efficiently. From managing supplier relationships and monitoring inventory, through to coordinating shipments and supporting demand planning, you'll have visibility across the entire supply chain and plenty of ownership in your day. Not only that, but you'll act as the right hand person to the Business Manager with all things suppliers, operations ensuring the business is kept running smoothly.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage purchasing of locally sourced products, ingredients and packaging
  • Support international purchasing and coordinate inbound shipments
  • Build strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain stock accuracy
  • Work alongside Sales to forecast demand and plan purchasing
  • Coordinate stock transfers, repacking and product changeovers
  • Track shipments and communicate delivery timeframes across the business
  • Support new product launches and ensure products are ready to hit the market
  • Prepare purchasing and inventory reporting while identifying opportunities for improvement
  • General operational support to the Business Manager 
  • Experience in Accredo ideal

About you

You'll bring previous experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or inventory management ideally within the imports/food sector. You're organised, commercially aware and proactive, with the confidence to build strong supplier relationships and the ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball.  You'll also have solid Excel skills and experience using ERP or inventory management systems ideally Accredo.
