My client is a well established organisation with eight independently operating businesses across New Zealand and Australia. With strong values and a practical, people-first culture, the group continues to grow steadily.

You’ll be based in their Penrose office, working closely with the wider finance and operations teams across both countries. The environment is professional but relaxed - a team that values accuracy, reliability and getting things right the first time.

What you will be doing:
 
This newly created position focuses on pricing, rate calculations and system administration. It’s ideal for someone confident working with numbers, experienced in payroll, pricing or financial data, and comfortable operating autonomously.

You’ll take ownership of setting up new clients within the system and building accurate charge-out rates across multiple businesses in the group. This is detail-driven work where precision matters.

Day to day, you will:
  • Build and maintain pricing and charge out rate structures
  • Set up new clients and ensure accurate system configuration
  • Support payroll data integrity and system updates
  • Prepare reports and manage financial data in Excel
  • Liaise with internal teams across NZ and Australia
  • Manage shared inbox queries and related documentation
This is a sole charge role, reporting to the National Manager, with close collaboration across accounts and operations.

We are looking to hire:
 
You’re numerically confident, process oriented and take pride in accuracy. You may come from payroll, accounts administration, contracts administration or a pricing support background.

You will bring:
  • Experience working with pricing, rates, payroll or financial data
  • Strong Excel capability and confidence learning systems
  • High attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently and manage your workload
  • A preference for consistent, part-time hours
This role would suit someone looking for around 30 hours per week - whether that be for family, lifestyle balance or personal preference.
