The Opportunity
We’re on the lookout for a driven and experienced Site Foreman to take the lead at a busy, fast-paced recycling operation. What you’ll be doing
You’ll take charge of day to day site operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely and efficiently. From leading your team to maximising recycled output, you’ll play a key role in driving performance and continuous improvement. You'll need strong physical fitness and be comfortable in steel-caps as this role involves walking the site, coordinating your team and occasionally operating diggers and excavators when required. Class 2 and Class 4 licences are an advantage to move a big rig from time to time.

An understanding of recycling plants, demolition or quarry works is a must so you know how to maintain operational efficiency. You have proven experience as a people leader and know how to get the best out of your team, setting clear expectations and performance. A strong relationship builder, you get on with all walks of life and have strong communication skills. Health & Safety is always top of mind and you will champion this ensuring a safe site. 

Must Haves

  • A min 5+ years' experience as a Site Foreman in demolition, quarry or recycling plants
  • Proven leadership skills - managing up to 10 people
  • Ability to develop and lead a team
  • Sound understanding of manufacturing, operations, quarrying or recycling plants
  • Demonstrate success in improving systems and processes
  • Strong physical fitness
  • Good communicator and sense of humour
  • Clean NZ Drivers Licence + clean MOJ
  • NZ Citizen or holders of NZ permanent residence visa will only be considered for this position
