About the Role
Take on a key leadership position with a highly regarded organisation, leading a prestigious new venture at Auckland's iconic New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) in the heart of the CBD.
As the Technical Director, you'll be a strategic collaborator, working closely with the client and representing the company on-site to ensure flawless event delivery.

Working effectively with multiple stakeholders and internal teams, you bring energy, enthusiasm, and technical proficiency to ensure smooth operations and exceptional delivery.
We seek a technical specialist with a strong background in managing and delivering conferences and large events. Knowledge of rigging and rigging best practices is highly desirable. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will be essential to excellence in this role.
Key attributes include:
- Proven track record leading large-scale, high-profile technical projects
- Hands-on experience as a senior technician is essential
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients and stakeholders
- A proactive approach with a passion for driving projects through to completion
- Proficiency with software such as Vectorworks or other CAD programs
