Trade Sales Support

Suited to a mandarin & english speaking trade support personality with a sound knowledge of building supplies + trade support 

• Mon-Fri 7.30-5pm + Albany location + growth potential 
• Great team of supportive hard working people
• Must have building supplies/product knowledge

About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic Trade Sales Team Member to join the team and help deliver an outstanding experience to valued trade customers. Reporting to the Trade Sales Manager, you'll be a key part of a busy, customer-facing environment, handling sales activities, building strong supplier and customer relationships, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the Trade Sales Manager with documentation and administration for trade sales activities
• Communicating with customers and suppliers to ensure efficient, positive, and professional relationships
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of trade sales procedures and sharing this with the wider team
• Liaising constructively with other departments to support trade sales operations
• Providing inventory and stock support as required
• Using initiative to identify solutions and communicate these to the Trade Sales Manager

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Sales experience in timber products and/or merchandise
• Strong verbal and written communication skills - English a must

Desirable:

• Experience in a similar trade sales role
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin
• A genuine customer-first mindset and service-oriented approach

You'll also bring:

• Attention to detail and a high level of integrity
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement
• Confidence using ICT systems relevant to a trade sales environment
