We are looking to hire a Warehouse Coordinator to join a solid kiwi crew, to keep things flowing behind the scenes. A great blend of warehouse and admin!

My client is a well established equipment and chemical supplier, based in Mount Wellington, on their behalf I am looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to join their close knit team.

About the role:  

This role has a blend of hands-on warehousing operations with office based work, you will be a key part of keeping things ticking behind the scenes. You’ll also be speaking with clients, taking phone orders, answering product questions and providing excellent service with a smile. 

The position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is naturally organized and takes pride in running a smooth operation. You will be joining a solid kiwi crew that values reliability, a good laugh and providing a high quality service. 

What your day will look like: 

The role will see you managing the day to day flow of stock and parts, to make sure everything is in the right place, at the right time. You will be coordinating everything from unloading fresh shipments and packing orders, right through to invoicing and pricing parts. 

  • Ordering, invoicing and pricing parts 
  • Picking and packing orders, to get them ready for delivery
  • Maintaining stock levels 
  • Speaking with clients over the phone and email to arrange orders 

About you:

We are after someone who can hit the ground running and take ownership of their role. You will be comfortable moving between the warehouse floor and the office, happily juggling physical tasks with a side of admin. 

You don’t need to know everything on day one, but you do need to be dependable and be able to work autonomously. A good sense of humor and a down to earth approach will help you fit right in. 

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment 
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • The ability to work independently and physically fit 
  • A valid forklift license if preferred, but not essential
  • Experience working with SAP is a bonus, not a must
