Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated senior level Warehouse Manager to manage a large, and growing team and help navigate through a large transition of growth offering a lot of opportunity to really bring your eye for process and make your mark. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a large, complex warehouse and will ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed. You will also be responsible for process improvement and building a positive team culture, whilst acting as direct report for the team leads, and overseeing the multiple sites across Auckland.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage direct team on site whilst overseeing multiple sites across Auckland
  • Manage, identify and roll out efficiencies and improvements across the operations teams
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and upheld to a high standard + overseeing incident management reporting
  • Lead and oversee the 
  • Build a positive team culture, managing a large team of direct reports (permanent and casual)
  • Help lead and motivate the team in navigating through a transformative growth phase
  • Inspiring and leading by example; working with integrity and pride
  • Oversee stock management processes 
  • Recruitment, rostering and upskilling of staff as well as setting performance measureables and outcomes

Requirements:

  • 10+ years’ experience in a senior warehouse management role
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a large, complex warehouse
  • Strong understanding working with expiries and batch control focussed operations
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and an emphasis on detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to get buy in from the wider team both from a warehousing and senior leadership perspective
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
