A part time Accounts Assistant role for a competent friendly professional; family owned nationwide business; flexible 30 hour week; down to earth team.

  • Mon-Fri 30 hours of your choice + 5 days pwk + Mt Wellington 
  • Small friendly team + wider nationwide business
  • Suit capable friendly personality + must have accounts experience

About the role:

This is a super part time Accounts Assistant position, ideal for someone seeking to work around school based hours.  You'll join a thriving professional business - experts in their industry and driven to deliver best service.  They are a down to earth business who value their team and have friendly professional working environment. This position  requires a friendly and proactive personality to get over all account support and other adhoc duties, 5 days per week.  You will report into the Company Accountant and the Operations Manager, who both have open-door policies and you'll have your own space to work in, along side finance.  

General duties include:

  • Invoicing and scanning warehouse documents
  • Stationary ordering for the wider nationwide business
  • Some accounts payable and receivable support as and when required
  • Reconciling fuel cards and receipts 
  • Freight auditing and invoice checking

Key requirements:

  • A friendly and professional personality; someone who adds value to the team
  • Experience in an accounts assistant role, familiar with reconciling and invoicing
  • A certainty long term that a 30 hour week is sustainable
  • Available 5 days per week
  • Professional presentation for a relaxed professional environment
  • Able to start in the first week of July, for a thorough hand over
  • A competent and proactive personality, willing to work in with the wider team
