About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a well established and growing finance company that’s expanding across NZ and looking for a motivated Financial Adviser to join their team as an independent contractor.

This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, enjoys the challenge of business development, and wants the freedom to operate independently while still having the support, systems, and reputation of a respected finance business behind them.

What we’re looking for

This role suits someone who is ambitious, relationship-focused, and hungry to succeed. You’ll be someone who enjoys being out in the market, creating opportunities, and delivering solutions that genuinely help businesses grow. Ideally, you will bring:

  • Commercial lending, banking, or finance experience OR a strong sales background within machinery, civil, transport, or commercial property industries
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Strong business development and networking skills
  • A self-motivated, driven mindset with the ability to work autonomously
  • Professional communication skills and strong commercial awareness
  • Commitment, resilience, and a genuine desire to succeed in a commission-based environment

Responsibilities

  • Meeting with businesses to understand their financial goals and requirements
  • Structuring and delivering tailored finance solutions
  • Managing the lending process from enquiry through to settlement
  • Developing and growing long-term client relationships
  • Generating new business opportunities and building referral networks
