About the role
We have an exciting Branch Manager position available, leading a small, experienced team. You’ll play a key role, shaping and executing strategies to drive growth and achieve targets, all while supporting and mentoring your team along the way. This is a Monday to Friday role, 8:30AM - 5PM, based in the heart of Whanganui.

To be successful in this role
We’re looking for someone who can lead and support their team while keeping customers at the centre of everything you do. You’ll help the team succeed through guidance and coaching and keep day to day operations running smoothly. You’ll also work closely with other branches and regional leadership to support business-wide goals. You will ideally have:

  • Branch management experience within the financial services sector 
  • Strong leadership and people management experience
  • Proven ability to drive branch performance and meet targets
  • A customer focused mindset with a commitment to service and compliance
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills

Day to day responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the branch while supporting regional strategies and initiatives
  • Coach and develop an experienced team to achieve targets
  • Contribute to planning, budgeting, and reporting to support business growth
  • Ensure all lending, credit, and risk processes comply with company policies
  • Keep up to date with competitor activity and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain branch operations and compliance with company standards
  • Foster a positive team culture, providing clear guidance and consistent leadership
