My client is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead two busy branches in Grey Lynn and Henderson. This role is all about people, performance, and creating a positive, high performing environment where both staff and customers have a great experience.

What you’ll be doing;
This is a true roll up your sleeves leadership role where no two days look the same. You’ll be leading, coaching and developing your team to perform at their best, driving sales performance and helping the team exceed targets, ensuring customers consistently have a smooth and positive experience, overseeing day to day operations including admin, fleet and compliance, managing rosters, staffing levels and performance reviews, handling customer issues and keeping things running efficiently, identifying opportunities to improve processes and performance, and building relationships while growing new business opportunities.

What we’re looking for;
We’re after someone who can balance people leadership with operational delivery. You’ll likely bring strong leadership experience across branch, operations or multi site environments, a hands on and practical approach with a willingness to be on the floor when needed, confidence managing performance and developing teams, commercial awareness with a drive to improve results, strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships, excellent organisation with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, and a full clean driver’s licence.

You will:

  • Have experience in a Branch Manager role ideally managing fleet/rentals
  • Have a positive history managing teams, with sound results
  • Be available for a Tues to Saturday working week
  • Be familiar and comfortable within the rental industry, and understand the ebbs and flows of the working week.
