Jump into a busy Accounts Payable contract and hit the ground running in a supportive finance team

  • 6 month fixed-term contract with potential to extend

  • Immediate start required, ideally available Monday

  • Newmarket location + established business + great team

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to jump into a 6 month fixed-term contract and support a busy finance team through a key period.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of day-to-day AP processing, ensuring invoices, payments and supplier queries are managed accurately and on time. It’ll suit someone who can hit the ground running, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes real pride in getting the detail right.

What you’ll be doing:

  • End-to-end Accounts Payable processing

  • Coding invoices, managing approvals and payment runs

  • Resolving supplier queries and maintaining supplier records

  • Supporting reconciliations, cashflow reporting and general finance admin

  • Jumping in to support the wider finance team where needed

About you:

  • Proven Accounts Payable experience in a busy environment

  • Strong accuracy, attention to detail and confidence working with numbers

  • Comfortable managing invoice processing, payment runs and supplier queries

  • Good systems skills and the ability to pick things up quickly

  • Available to start immediately (Monday the 13th)
