The Role:

This is a Clinical Dental Technician role based in Hamilton, with responsibility for also servicing two satellite clinics in Huntly and Tokoroa. It is a full-time position where you will work across both clinical patient care and technical/lab-based denture work, offering a varied and hands-on workload.

You will be based primarily in Hamilton, where all technical denture work is completed, while also travelling to satellite clinics to provide clinical services including impressions, moulds, and patient consultations. The satellite clinics are not fully equipped, so your focus in these locations will be on delivering clinical care, with all final technical work completed back at the Hamilton base.

Weekly structure:

• Monday & Thursday - Huntly clinic (clinical CDT work)
• Friday - Tokoroa clinic (clinical CDT work)
• Tuesday & Wednesday - Hamilton base (lab/technical work)

This role suits someone who enjoys variety, is confident across both clinical and technical environments, and is comfortable with regular regional travel. Travel time between clinics is paid.

You will:

• Be a registered Clinical Dental Technician in New Zealand (essential)
• Ideally bring 2+ years’ experience (attitude and capability also valued)
• Be confident across both clinical and lab-based work
• Be comfortable travelling between Hamilton, Huntly and Tokoroa weekly
• Have a patient, calm and caring approach (especially with older patients)
• Be a strong communicator with fluent English
• Be reliable, practical and easy to work with
• Enjoy working in a small, close-knit team environment

The Hamilton base is the central hub for all lab work, supported by a small regional clinic network that enables wider patient reach. The environment is practical, hands-on, and focused on delivering consistent, high-quality care.
