Commercially savvy and ready to step beyond the numbers and make a real impact? We’re looking for a Commercial Analyst who’s ready to play a key role in the transformation journey of this NZ success story and to help shape the future of the business through commercial insights. You’ll play a key role in turning numbers into decisions, and decisions into results, reporting into the Commercial and Finance Manager.

This is more than just analysis - it’s about influence, strategy, and being a true business partner. You’ll work closely with sales, finance, and operations teams to uncover insights, challenge thinking, and drive smarter commercial decisions.

This business has offices across the city so we welcome applicants from all across Tāmaki Makaurau to apply. It will commence as a 12-month contract, but chances for long term opportunities are likely.

What you’ll be doing:

• Partnering across the business to improve commercial performance

• Diving into pricing, customer profitability, revenue and cost drivers

• Developing dashboards and financial models to track key metrics

• Supporting bids, tenders, business cases, and strategic initiatives

• Forecasting and analysing margin and revenue scenarios

• Assisting in budgets and re-forecasts

• Monitoring market trends and competitor performance

• Supporting contract reviews and key customer analysis

• Delivering sharp, timely ad hoc insights to drive action

   

What you’ll bring:

• 2 - 4 years’ experience in FP&A, accounting or business analysis

• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills (Power BI/Tableau a plus)

• Commercial acumen and a curious, open mindset

• Confidence communicating with stakeholders across the business

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar (CA/CPA/CIMA a bonus)
