About the role:As an accountant within this business, you will be working within a talented team of 3, reporting to the finance manager. You will play a key role in the business by maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, always being audit-ready. You will be working closely with the Australian team, so excellent communication skills via phone and email are important. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, examine, and analyse financial statements, reports, and accounts
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Conduct general ledger entries and perform bank reconciliations
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisEnsure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors for year-end audits
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management as needed

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
