Step into a pivotal team lead role within a highly ambitious, rapidly growing leader in the logistics and supply chain space. Known for operational excellence and exceptional customer experiences, this business is scaling fast – and they need a hands-on Team Leader to drive performance, uplift capability and keep the engine room running at its best.

Leading a team of 7 Customer Operations Coordinators, you’ll be responsible for motivating, mentoring and elevating the team while ensuring every order moves seamlessly from entry through to delivery. This is a role for someone who thrives in high-volume environments, sets the standard from the front, and knows how to balance people leadership with operational precision. Experience within logistics related industry essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of 7, driving engagement, accountability and high performance

  • Oversee daily order flow, returns and shipping documentation, ensuring accuracy and SLA adherence

  • Monitor operational KPIs, proactively managing workload distribution and workflow efficiencies

  • Act as escalation point for complex customer and operational queries, providing solutions at pace

  • Partner closely with warehouse and transport teams to optimise dispatch planning and delivery outcomes

  • Analyse operational data and reporting to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities

  • Support senior leadership with performance insights, forecasting and process enhancements

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and customer-first thinking

About You:

You’re an experienced logistics professional ready to step into (or already operating in) a leadership capacity. You know how to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed. You lead with clarity, energy and accountability, and bring a strong operational lens to everything you do.   • Proven experience in logistics or warehouse operations

  • Demonstrated team leadership experience (formal or senior-level stepping up)

  • Strong working knowledge of WMS, TMS and reporting systems

  • Commercially aware with the ability to manage KPIs and performance metrics

  • Calm under pressure, highly organised, and solutions-focused

  • A confident communicator who can influence across operational and customer stakeholders

  • Passionate about developing others and building a positive, high-performing team culture
