About the role 

Step into a pivotal, newly created position within a highly established Operations team. As the sole Export Operator, you will be the driving force behind a division born from organic growth and increasing client demand. This is your opportunity to own the end-to-end Air and Sea freight process and shape the future of the export department.

We are looking for a specialist who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in their Dangerous Goods (DG) expertise. You will be the "go-to" for complex shipments, managing key accounts and ensuring seamless KPI delivery within a close-knit, supportive culture.

• Prepare and process export documentation, updating them in CargoWise
• Manage end to end export shipments both air and sea frieght, including Dangerous Goods consignments
• Ensure compliance with customs, export laws, and trade regulations
• Book freight with airlines, shipping lines, and transport providers
• Communicate with clients, overseas agents, and service providers
• Track shipments and provide status updates
• Resolve delays, documentation issues, or customs holds

Ideal skills and experience

We are seeking a proactive professional who blends technical precision with exceptional communication. To hit the ground running, you will have:

• 3+ years of dedicated Freight Forwarding experience.
• A proven background in both Air & Ocean Exports.
• Hands-on proficiency in handling Dangerous Goods consignments.
• CargoWise expertise.
• An adaptable mindset with the ability to prioritize and think laterally.
• A natural talent for building and maintaining strong client relationships.
