The Job

This is a frontline customer service position, acting as the first point of contact for customers via email, over the phone and sometimes in person. You will play an important role in ensuring customers receive friendly, efficient service while supporting the wider office team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Account management of the large customer orders and key accounts (office based).
  • Telesales; contacting new and existing customers with the aim of generating additional sales – success is rewarded with bonuses quarterly.
  • Entering orders into the system (Quanta).
  • Coordinating stock deliveries, stock take, ordering stock and managing stock volumes via Quanta.
  • Back up to the counter sales customer service person
  • The majority of the job will be office based and dealing with all office admin and customer orders, at times you may be required to lift a box (up to 10kg) or locate a package from the stores. 

The job is full-time permanent, the hours are Mon-Fri 8am – 4.30pm.  The existing person will be leaving at the end of the month and has a wealth of knowledge to handover, an immediate start would be so valuable. 

The Ideal Person

We are looking for a down to earth people person who enjoys working in a close-knit team and customer contact.  You’ll be accurate, helpful and great with systems and large volumes of stock and SKU numbers.  Good attention to detail is a must, you’ll be fit and happy to lift a 10kg box for a customer, not be afraid of heights.  You’ll fit right in if you love taking ownership for your work, you’re a team player with a hard-working attitude.
