Based in the industrial area of Frankton, this precision engineering company creates high-spec componentry for a range of industries. With technology and precision at its core, the company is dedicated to creating the highest-quality products that its team proudly stands behind.
* Immediate start + Industrial labourer for inwards goods + steel tube cutting
* $25.50/hr + 7am - 3.30pm M-F + Must be reliable
* Keep the factory ticking over + great team
You will be:
- Reliable and able to work the hours and days requested
- Receipting incoming stock and checking against packing slips
- Unpacking material and components with quality checks to ensure no damages or short supply
- Cutting steel bars and tubes using cutting machine to specific lengths and delivering to areas throughout factory
- Labelling and preparing materials
- Stacking raw materials in desiginated shelving
- Assisting with packing and despatch
- General factory tidying and ensuring clean workspace and areas
- Workshop support where and as needed
Have you got:
- Your own transport, this is not on public transport routes
- Experience as a labourer in general steel/industrial engineering
- Able to follow instruction and take direction well
- Reliable and turn up for work
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of safety when working with cutting tools
- Must be comfortable working in a workshop environment
- Fit and healthy, this role is on your feet all day
A clean MOJ & Drug & Alcohol test will be completed as part of the recruitment process.
This temp role is only open to NZ Permanent Residency & NZ Citizens, overseas applicants will not be considered for this role.
