About the Role – Lead Physiotherapist
I am seeking an experienced and motivated Physiotherapist ready to step into a leadership role. As Lead Physiotherapist, you will maintain a clinical caseload while also overseeing service delivery, supporting a team of clinicians, and contributing to strategic and operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Mentorship

• Provide clinical leadership, coaching and support to a team of physiotherapists

• Oversee onboarding and supervision of new graduates or junior staff

• Foster a high-performance, values-driven team culture

• Support diary capacity planning, caseload allocation and service coordination

Clinical & Operational Excellence

• Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services in musculoskeletal and/or community rehabilitation

• Lead complex clinical case discussions and support interdisciplinary planning

• Ensure timely and accurate documentation, reporting and communication with funders (e.g. ACC)

• Maintain compliance with clinical standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements

Strategic & Service Development

• Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and service processes

• Identify opportunities for service improvement and lead quality initiatives

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders including clients, families, and healthcare partners

• Represent the organisation in community engagement and networking as needed

What You’ll Bring

• A recognised degree in Physiotherapy and a current NZ APC.

• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in MSK and/or community rehabilitation.

• Proven leadership or mentoring experience.

• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.

• Sound understanding of ACC contracts and rehabilitation pathways.

• Full NZ driver’s licence.
