Join a fast-growing NZ transport business that knows how to work hard and have a laugh while doing it
• 3-Month Contract; $70 - 80k + Immediate start
• Fast-paced, high-volume HR coordination role in Penrose + Onsite Parking
• Down-to-earth, no-egos culture with great people doing great business
This is not your typical corporate HR role. You’ll be stepping into a large, growing transport business with hundreds of staff across NZ and Australia, where the focus is on people, performance, and doing things better every day. The culture is grounded, hardworking, and genuinely supportive, a team that celebrates wins, backs each other, and enjoys a bit of banter along the way. Regardless of it's rapidly growing size, they've maintained a true family feel environment, working with only the best in the biz.
You’ll sit within a tight-knit People team and be the go-to for coordination and admin across recruitment, onboarding, and wider HR processes. It’s a true service role where you’ll be supporting managers and teams across the business, keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
What you’ll be doing:
• Coordinating end-to-end recruitment processes (job ads, interviews, comms)
• Supporting onboarding, contracts, documentation, and new starter setup
• Managing employee records and maintaining HR systems
• Assisting with employment letters, contract variations, and compliance checks
• Coordinating internal processes like reviews, training, and team initiatives
• Supporting wider people-related admin, events, and team coordination
• Being the go-to for day-to-day HR queries across the business
What we’re looking for:
• 2 + years in an HR Coordinator / HR Admin role
• Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
• Highly organised with strong systems and attention to detail
• Proactive and intuitive, you don’t wait to be told what to do
• A natural team player who enjoys supporting others
• Down-to-earth, adaptable, and happy to roll up your sleeves
• Able to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Available to start ASAP and commit to a 3-month contract
• NZ-based with valid working rights
If you’re someone who enjoys being busy, takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, and wants to be part of a genuinely great team culture, this is one worth jumping on.
