The Job
As the Practice Manager, you’ll oversee the administration functions and provide business management support across the organisation. This is a varied and rewarding role that includes:
- Leading and supporting the administration team, ensuring efficient systems and processes
- Overseeing HR and payroll functions, including recruitment, training and staff developmentManaging practice accounts including WIP, debtors, invoicing, reconciliations and reporting
- Monitoring business performance and preparing management reports for the Directors
- Liaising with IT providers, external professional bodies and marketing consultants
- Coordinating internal communications, newsletters and website updates
The Ideal Person
We’re looking for someone who can juggle a wide range of responsibilities while maintaining a calm, solutions-focused approach. You’ll need:
- Previous experience in office management or a similar operations-focused role
- Strong financial acumen and confidence working with numbers
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
- A natural ability to build trust and credibility with colleagues and stakeholders
- A positive, professional attitude and a willingness to get stuck in wherever needed
