About The Practice

I am seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse to join a well-established, family-owned general practice in Mount Eden on a temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent. Under new ownership for the past two years, the clinic has undergone significant improvements and continues to grow as a progressive and forward-thinking practice.

This is not your typical sterile clinic environment, the practice has a warm, welcoming feel, with a relaxed atmosphere and a genuinely friendly team who enjoy working together. You’ll be working alongside a supportive and collaborative team including 3 Doctors, 1 Nurse Practitioner, and 3 fantastic Receptionists (1 full-time and 2 part-time). The clinic is run like a well-oiled machine, offering a positive and enjoyable place to work.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Providing high-quality nursing care to patients within a general practice setting
Conducting patient assessments, triage, and clinical observations
Administering vaccinations, injections, and medications as required
Performing wound care, dressings, and assisting with minor procedures
Supporting chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, asthma, cardiovascular conditions)
Completing cervical screening, ECGs, and other routine clinical procedures
Assisting GPs and the Nurse Practitioner with consultations when needed
Contributing to a positive, friendly, and supportive clinic environment

What we’re looking for:

A qualified and experienced Practice Nurse
Experience using Indici is highly desireable
Someone who thrives in a fun, team-oriented environment (Essential!)
A friendly, approachable, and proactive attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced but relaxed setting
