We’re on the hunt for an experienced and motivated Clinical Research Pharmacist to join our dynamic and dedicated research team. This is no ordinary pharmacy role – you’ll be a crucial player in a high-performing environment where science meets compassion, and every day brings something new.

What you’ll be doing:

• Coordinating all pharmacy-related activities for cutting-edge clinical trials

• Managing investigational products (from reconstitution and compounding to storage, dispensing, and destruction)

• Ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining rigorous quality standards, and developing key documentation

• Being the go-to expert for all things related to clinical trial medication – including infusional therapies

• Working side-by-side with researchers, clinicians, and trial participants to transform lives through medical innovation

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Are a registered NZ pharmacist with experience in aseptic compounding and isolators

• Have a sharp eye for detail, love systems and SOPs, and can juggle competing priorities with calm confidence

• Are excited about contributing to ground-breaking research that leads to real health outcomes

• Can collaborate across disciplines while also working independently

• Are ready to take your pharmacy skills to the next level and beyond!

Bonus points if you have (or want to learn!):

• Training or experience in aseptic technique (UoA offers a great course!)

• The ability to compound or reconstitute using an isolator

• Experience dispensing chemotherapy or working in a hospital pharmacy

• A willingness to train as a vaccinator

• Hands-on experience in clinical trials

• Leadership potential and the drive to grow into a more senior role over time
