The Role

This is a hands on, operational Compliance role where you’ll take ownership of key functions including Health & Safety, complaints management, and privacy, while ensuring compliance frameworks and controls are effectively embedded across the business.

Working closely with the GM Risk & Compliance and wider team, you’ll play a key role in delivering the Compliance Assurance Programme, supporting audits, and ensuring the business meets its obligations day to day. This is a Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm role on a 12-month fixed term contract, offering the opportunity to step into a visible, impactful position.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting and delivering the Compliance Assurance Programme across the business
  • Taking ownership of Health & Safety, including reporting, investigations and training
  • Managing end to end complaints handling 
  • Acting as Privacy Officer, managing breaches, training, and ongoing policy updates
  • Maintaining and improving compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures
  • Supporting audits, regulatory reporting, and internal compliance reviews
  • Leading compliance related projects and driving process improvements
  • Supporting staff training and working closely with stakeholders across the business, including senior leadership

About You

You’re someone who enjoys being hands on and operational, with the confidence to take ownership of key compliance functions and work across the business to ensure things are done right. We're looking for someone who has: 

  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solutions focused mindset
  • Experience in risk, compliance, lending, or financial services
  • Familiarity with CCCFA, AML/CFT, Privacy Act, or FAP requirements
  • Understanding of lending fundamentals, affordability, and budgeting
  • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Able to step in, take ownership, and hit the ground running
