About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager with a strong technical background or previous HVAC experience to be the go-to contact for customers across the Auckland and Northland region.

This role suits someone with a genuine passion for solving customer problems and delivering long term solutions, not just quick wins. You'll need to love smashing sales targets, but just as importantly, you'll need to genuinely enjoy building relationships that last. Some of this patch has accounts that haven't had the attention they deserve recently, so there's real opportunity here for someone who can bring fresh energy, reconnect with customers who've gone quiet, and turn that into long term, healthy business.

What You'll Do

• Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, keeping them well serviced and growing over time
• Build long term relationships with both new and existing customers
• Identify and generate new business opportunities across the region
• Handle queries from dealers, customers, and service partners, providing technical training and support where needed
• Attend local and national trade functions as required

About You

• Previous HVAC experience, ideally with a sound technical understanding of the product (level 1 support suitable) 
• A demonstrated track record of success in a previous sales role
• Experience working with wholesale customers
• A good understanding of the full sales cycle, and the ability to deliver an excellent customer experience from first contact through to long term account management
• A knack for spotting new opportunities, with a track record of winning new projects and new business
