The Role

Key responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored and science backed farm solutions through a consultative sales approach, because no two farms are the same
- Foster strong partnerships and long lasting relationships with farmers in the South Waikato region
- Identify and capitalise on opportunities to build sales and profitability
- You are confident in producing accurate reports including; daily log calls, weekly plans and territory performance summaries.
- Executing sales plans and driving further growth of your account base and overall business is what motivates you.
- Work consistently at good speed, building a strong profitable territory that reflects your efforts.
- You’ll know the South Waikato region well and be comfortable navigating the surrounding areas.
- Able to demonstrate sales experience and proven territory management skills with a minimum of 2 years in the NZ Agri industry
- Drive, motivation and a passion for sales, you are a self-starter who loves the chase and ability to close the deal
- Degree in Agriculture or Science as you will identify customer needs and provide solutions - you’re a problem solver
- Excellent organisation, communication and relationships to achieve sales targets
- A passion for farming and the farm cycle, having a deep understanding of the challenges farmers face
- Someone who has growth aspirations and looks forward to dealing with challenges, working closely with farmers to provide solutions
- Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen or hold a current New Zealand resident visa
- Must have a clean full drivers licence.
