About The Role

This is a rare opportunity to join one of New Zealand's most exciting live events venues, the New Zealand International Convention Centre, as a dedicated Account Manager for AV and technical production.

You'll be the first point of contact for a steady stream of inbound client enquiries, building relationships from initial brief through to event delivery.

There's no cold calling here. The leads are already coming in, in fact, the team has more work than they can keep up with. Your job is to respond quickly, build confidence with clients, turn briefs into compelling technical quotations, and then stay close as the production team brings it all to life.

  • Managing all inbound client enquiries and warm leads.
  • Building detailed technical quotations and scoping live event requirements
  • Owning client relationships from initial enquiry through to post-event follow-up
  • Liaising closely with the on-site technical team to ensure seamless delivery
  • Meeting clients on-site as events kick off 

About You

We're open to the right person at any level, junior through to senior. What matters most is your ability to communicate confidently, build genuine relationships with clients, and talk the technical language of live events.

You might be an AV technician who's ready to step into a client-facing role and put your technical knowledge to work in a new way. Or you could be an experienced account manager or salesperson who already knows the live events world and wants to work somewhere with real momentum. 

You'll be joining a tight-knit, social team embedded within the SkyCity precinct. This is a fully on-site role, and the culture reflects that, collaborative, present, and the kind of place where people actually enjoy coming to work.
