About the Role

We're on the lookout for an experienced Site Traffic Management Specialist to join a growing team where your expertise will genuinely make a difference, keeping workers, road users, and the public safe every single day.

This is a hands-on role at the sharp end of temporary traffic management (TTM), operating across high-volume arterials and motorway environments. You'll work alongside site managers, clients, and road controlling authorities, owning the delivery of safe, compliant TTM from setup to sign-off.

  • Supervise and lead traffic management crews on-site, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required standard
  • Implement and monitor approved Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), ensuring all setups are compliant and maintained throughout each shift
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards, relevant legislation, and industry best practice at all times
  • Complete required documentation and reporting accurately, including daily diaries, incident reports, and TMP records
About You

You're a well-rounded STMS professional who thrives in fast-paced environments. You bring solid hands-on experience from high-volume roads and motorways, and you know how to lead a crew and hold the standard. Just as importantly, you show up with a positive attitude and a genuine commitment to doing the job right.
  • STMS CAT A or CAT B qualification (essential)
  • Full New Zealand driver licence — Class 2 preferred
  • Proven experience in traffic management and site supervision, ideally on state highways or motorway environments
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage crews under pressure
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate or salary, depending on experience and qualifications
  • A supportive team with a strong, lived safety culture
  • Real opportunities for further training and career progression
Multiple positions are available as this team continues to grow. If you're looking for stability, momentum, and a team that values what you bring, this is the role for you.
