My client is on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented General Administrator to join the team. This is a newly created hands-on role where you’ll be the go-to person for all things admin — from managing digital files to supporting internal systems, troubleshooting basic IT hiccups, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves getting stuck into a variety of tasks, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a knack for keeping things organised (digitally and IRL).The right person will have good experience in an admin support role, live within a reasonable distance to Mt Wellington, and have the option of working either full time or part time.  You will be joining a family owned and operated business, with strong processes and systems already in place, however with an open mind to better ways to do things.  Therefore someone who is switched on enough to recognise process improvement areas would be an added bonus. 

General responsibilities:

  • Perform general office administration, including data entry and document management.
  • Assist with setting up and maintaining internal company systems and online data.
  • Manage shared files, update databases, and keep digital files organised.
  • Support colleagues with troubleshooting basic IT or software issues
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and spreadsheets as required.
  • Maintain company information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Carry out other administrative tasks as requested to support the wider team.

The right person will have:

  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office, cloud storage, email platforms, and databases).
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to changing technology.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to help others.
  • Familiarity with online platforms such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint or CRM systems.
  • Basic understanding of computer setup, file management, and system security.
