The opportunity:

This is a newly created role where you’ll be empowered to take ownership, drive new business growth and nurture an existing client base. You’ll report directly to senior leadership (no jumping through hoops!) and be supported to bring your ideas to life.

You’ll be spending your time in front of decision-makers, identifying opportunities, closing deals and building long-term partnerships. This is a hunter’s role with strong farmer elements - ideal for someone who thrives on relationships but loves the thrill of the chase.

In this role, you'll:

  • Own your territory and shape your sales strategy
  • Hunt out new clients and secure high-value opportunities
  • Maintain and grow loyal accounts across the region
  • Pitch to senior decision-makers and close with confidence
  • Influence commercial outcomes directly with senior leaders

A bit about you:

You're a confident, competitive salesperson who knows how to navigate the logistics space. You’re commercially sharp, know how to read a room and get a buzz from delivering results. You’ve got thick skin, a solid network and a natural ability to get in front of the right people.

You bring to the table:

  • 5+ years of experience in freight, logistics, or supply chain sales
  • A true hunter mindset with the ability to farm for long-term growth
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Confidence in negotiating deals and handling commercial conversations
  • Strong communication skills -  you're sharp, articulate and know your stuff
  • A valid NZ driver’s licence and openness to travel
