The Opportunity
We are seeking a driven and experienced Territory Sales Manager to lead growth in agricultural equipment and stock feed solutions. This role is ideal for someone who understands the realities of farming and thrives on building strong, long term customer relationships. You will take ownership of driving revenue with strong sales strategies, manage key accounts and identify new business opportunities across Southland. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being on the ground, has the ability to travel and work closely with customers. You know when to have a yarn against the fence and when to talk business.
What you will be doing
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, contractors and rural businesses
- Identify new opportunities across equipment, livestock systems, and stock management solutions
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Collaborate with operations and supply teams to ensure customer satisfaction
What you will bring
- Proven experience in agricultural or rural sales (equipment, livestock, or similar)
- Strong understanding of farming operations and industry challenges
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Able to travel across Southland and work in peak summer season
