What you’ll be doing

This is a true business partnering role that is broad, hands on, and commercially focused. You’ll work closely with Sales and Marketing leaders to drive performance and decision making, taking ownership of the divisional result across Asia, USA, Canada, Australia and NZ markets.  It is a 'get your hands dirty' type role, you'll need to be someone who can work with changing systems and processes and the evolution of systems improvements. 

You will be involved in identifying opportunities to improve commercial performance, whether that’s through pricing, trade spend, route to market or other levers. You’ll also play a key role in forecasting, budgeting and IBP, bringing insight and challenge to demand drivers and investment decisions. In short you will:

• Partner with Sales and Marketing to drive commercial outcomes
• Own and influence the divisional financial result
• Deliver modelling, scenario analysis and investment insights
• Lead forecasting, budgeting and IBP processes
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and performance
• Drive month end, reporting and performance discussions
• Turn data into clear, actionable commercial insight
• Support continuous improvement across reporting and processes

What you will bring

This is not a passive finance role and does require someone who is comfortable and happy to be very hands on. You’ll need to be confident operating in a dynamic environment, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and balance both strategic thinking and hands on delivery.

You’ll bring strong commercial acumen and the ability to connect financials to real business drivers, along with a mindset focused on improvement and adding value. The right background is: 

• Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering role
• Background in FMCG, manufacturing or a complex commercial environment preferred
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of value drivers
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting and financial modelling
• Confidence to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
• Ability to work both strategically and in the detail
• Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
• Continuous improvement mindset
