About the Role:

This role plays a pivotal part within the business. As a Lighting Sales Specification Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of the business, developing and maintaining strong relationships with architects, designers, consultants, and specifiers to secure lighting solutions in commercial and high-end residential projects. 

This role will be a mix of account management and new business. You will predominantly work on warm leads; however, having the drive and ability to win new business is essential to succeed in this role. You will be working across all of Auckland, with some travel to Hamilton and Tauranga required.

Your Role Will Include:

• Building and developing strong networks with architects, lighting designers, electrical engineers, and contractors
• Developing project specifications with a keen understanding of lighting design, products, and compliance requirements
• Providing expert technical advice and solution-based selling
• Keeping up to date with industry trends, technologies, and competitor activity

Ideal Skills and Experience:

We are looking for an experienced sales expert from the lighting space. You will have previous specification knowledge and a solid network within the industry. You will be confident in winning new business, self-motivated, and bring a consultative approach
