Join a forward-thinking design and manufacturing crew in Auckland who actually make things happen, taking products from a cool idea to a physical reality.

  • A mix of global supply chain management, hands-on production, and strategy.
  • Take ownership of the entire production floor and international vendor relationships.
  • Work with a team of "thinkers and doers" who value integrity over corporate buzzwords

The Company

This is a tight-knit team of creators and engineers who thrive on solving problems in clever ways. They aren’t just a middleman; they are deeply involved in the design and manufacture of high-quality products. They care about the impact of their work and keep sustainability and smart design at the heart of everything they do. The environment you’ll be joining is fast-moving, pragmatic, and built on the idea that passionate people do the best work when they’re supported.

The Opportunity

We need a grounded leader to step in and run the engine room of the production and supply business. Reporting to the GM, you’ll be the bridge between the consulting team and the manufacturing partners who build products. This isn’t a "sit behind a desk all day" job, you’ll be managing local and international supply chains one minute and ensuring the production floor in North Harbour is running like a well-oiled machine the next.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Finding and vetting new suppliers (locally and overseas) and keeping those relationships strong.
  • Running specific projects from pricing and timelines to inventory and final assembly.
  • Keeping standards high by maintaining QC systems and making sure every part meets the brief.
  • Managing the day-to-day of the production facility, including health and safety, equipment maintenance, and leading a casual crew.
  • Chatting with clients to solve supply issues and helping them find the right manufacturing partners for their projects.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Product Development is the goal.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar role, ideally involving New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • You’re comfortable with MRP/ERP systems and can wrap your head around complex BOMs and technical drawings.
  • You know your way around a workshop and hold (or can hold) a forklift license and HSR certification.
  • You’re organized, a great communicator, and someone who actually enjoys learning and improving how things are done.
